Amma -Appa- Pillai Vilaiyaatu

2 days before in Sun News

There is a education programme for 6yrs old kids.....in that visual one mother showing two animal pics and asking which is Lion...it picks the lions pic....like that many questions asking to identify number...pick the odd number (!) .

Wow its really great. But same time it disturbed me.... what it is going to do by learning these at this age itself?

People started giving tension at 6months itself... spoiling next generations also in the early age.

Teach him good things…. how to become a good human being…channaelise him into proper lifestyle.

Better education wont make a complete citizen.

I don’t want to mention the names of the persons they already popular in the media,,some examples are one doctor from Anna nagar chennai, Medical student from annamalai university, are few.

Don’t put all your money and efforts to make him/her well educated ….there are many things other than that.

Dear Parents just think.....

What is the fun behind that?

Don’t you want him to enjoy his childhood?

What is the necessity of teaching those things right now?

Don’t think that if you teach all the thing right now he will become a Dr/engr...after 20 years (means at his age) professions would be different.

Final question:

Suppose your son/daughter studied well and got good job in other part of country/world. Where you will be? Along with your son/daughter? Or crying before the TV in your hometown. No parents’ accepting/dialing calls form their son during the serial time (particularly 9-9.30 .Kolangal Abi Ozhiga)
Its happening in India now...most of the youngsters working out of home town......not staying with parent...not enjoying their home food...missing their bus stops…those girls with smiles , missing many things simply we are living like “Agathigal”

Because of that many things changed among the youngsters, some are,

Loneliness,
Mental depression
Drinking.
And other bad habits.

We studied more so we suffering lot.

Me facing this problem last 4 years..........till no solution if I want to go back to chennai...I have to search a company who need Industrial Designer/product designer. Which is rare to find there.

Even last one year I was in chennai…. but after one month of my chennai life my parents shifted to Chidambaram because my father got transferred their…(Appa vum paavam romba padichittu oor oora suthuraar).

I don’t want to be like this……
What to do I am the one who is looking the glass not the water....
And I end up this with one email conversation between my friend and me

Mail-1.

Hi friends,

Its worth reading.

A group of working adults got together to visit their University lecturer. The lecturer was happy to see them. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life. The Lecturer just smiled and went to the kitchen to get an assortment of cups - some porcelain, some in plastic, some in glass, some plainlooking and some looked rather expensive and exquisite. The Lecturer offered his former students the cups to get drinks for themselves. When all the students had a cup in hand with water, the Lecturer spoke: "If you noticed, all the nice looking, expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal that you only want the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. What all you wanted was water, not the cup, but we unconsciously went for the better cups.Just like in life, if Life is Water, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold/maintain Life, but the quality of Life doesn't change. If we only concentrate on the cup, we won't have time to enjoy/taste the water in it."

Hi,
Its obviously true not only for you, for me too. Because I wanted a good looking cup, I chose Software. But I am happy that my batchmates are working hard to get even that water. So I am comparatively happy that I am working hard for cup, not for water. The same thing applies for you too. There are some things which we cant change ane we have to accept it and live with that. That’s what I am doing and of course you are also doing.

Regards,

Manikandan Harikrishnan
